GREENFIELD SCHOOL GROUNDBREAKING

On Sunday morning, March 208th, under clear blue skies, OUT-2 Design staff celebrated the official ground-breaking of our latest education project in Vietnam, the Greenfield School’s Conifer Campus, located in Long Thanh, Dong Nai Province, Vietnam.

Comprising over 30,000sqm across four floors, the generous campus provides a world-class learning environment for more than 4500 students from KG to Grade 12. The school’s facilities will bring a new standard of education to Dong Nai, including world-class teaching spaces, competition playing fields, a 25m swimming pool, performing arts spaces and three multi-purpose playing courts.

OUT-2 Design staff attended the event together with over 80 guests including local officials and dignitaries

The campus has been designed to respond to the local climatic conditions, with extensive use of passive solar sun shading systems to reduce heat gain and energy consumption. Building orientation provides maximum, filtered daylight to all learning spaces, a benefit proven to increase student learning outcomes by over 20%.
